Societies

CBS has had a tradition of a number of societies coming up every now and then in promotion of various extra curricular activities in last few years. However, after appointment of new principal Mam, Ms Poonam Verma, the unregulated onslaught of societies came to a halt and now there are a few defined societies/ cells/ bodies which include:

• CDC (Career Development Center) aka Placement Cell
• CBSAA (CBS Alumni Association), which has developed into a professional body, being managed by Alumni
• E-Cell (Entrepreneurship Cell), still struggling to find mass among the college audience, who are though very entrepreneurial, feel aloof from E-Cell.
• A permanent body for annual festival Crescendo.
• Others, of which we are not sure of names and existence, for which you’ll have to forgive us.
