Life at CBS

An idea they say can change your life. It can change the very purpose of your existence, making one’s life a little more meaningful and a lot less droning. An idea fuels the passion in you and makes you take up the most impossible journey. It not only makes you dream the unimaginable but also drives you towards success by fostering in you the spirit of conviction and fortitude.

An isolated idea may be ridiculed, ignored and forgotten by the mossbacks ruling our society but the moment it is backed by visionaries, a metamorphosis of the archaic customs and rules takes place, sleeping minds are evoked and a new era is ushered in.

And we all as proud cbsites are part of one such great revolution because CBS is not merely an institution but it is an idea. An idea of modest means that has the power and inclination to lead us to unimaginable ends.  Devoid of any pretence CBS has been able to carve out its own unique identity and has inspired us to do the same. It has defied the age old tradition in education system of blindly following what is written in the books, but instigates us to question the unquestionable. It has transformed learning into an experience and has made us understand the nitty-gritty of corporate world and much more.

Yet, it cannot be denied that life at CBS is not at all a smooth sail with the constant urge to prove oneself in the midst of fierce competition and to meet rigid deadlines enough to give any students scary nightmares. But as it is famously said and proved a million times that “a diamond is just a lump of coal that is made good under pressure”. So once we are over with the three highly eventful years we get well acquainted with the principles of perseverance, teamwork, determination, sincerity and the desire to think differently.
